DANIELLE MARHEFKA
Prior to becoming a web developer, I spent 7 years within the restaurant industry as a pastry chef. I discovered coding, which eventually led me to General Assembly’s Web Immersive program, as a way to stream-line my restaurant’s website - and I developed a passion for code.
Working within the high-pressure, fast-paced culinary environment has helped prepare me to pursue my interest in code and break into the tech industry. I believe that my ability to be quick and decisive while calm under pressure is a strength that would directly apply to my career in web development. I enjoy solving problems in organized, but creative, ways and would love to utilize my new skillsets to create lasting impact within my community.
While I enjoy most aspects of the full-stack develpment process, my interests definitley lie within the back-end, especially with Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Building databases and learning how to use them in data analysis is my next venture.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website. Please click around or feel free to reach out me and connect!
